Shore Power Converters are essential for yachts exploring international waters. A reliable and seamless shore to ship connection can be made to any worldwide supply 50 or 60Hz, from 180 to 520Vac. This allows onboard generators to be turned offline, greatly improving onboard comfort for crew and guest and reducing onboard maintenance and energy bills.
In addition the Shore Power Converter can be used to power and control the bow/stern thruster or provide a CleanNet supply for sensitive equipment such as lighting when outside harbour. Both options greatly improve onboard comfort and reduce overall engineering space.
