Hybrid technology – the green way forward

With the worldwide push for greener technologies and care for the environment the superyacht industry and Magnus has the technology to respond. Power from shore power, generators, engines or batteries can be converted and controlled to deliver all yachts power requirements. Shaft generators are rapidly establishing themselves as a green power source for yachts when under way. The Magnus Grid Connect Inverter can take the variable voltage and frequencies supplied from the shaft generator and deliver a stable supply platform to the ship's AC bus.
